About Springlake Sales

The Gilreath family goes back three generations at the store located at 5996 W 800 North in Michigan City. His great uncle Joe built the shop back in 1954, then his father took over in 1958 originally operating as a grocery store. 

The whole family was involved in the business early on. Joe was born and raised on the property, with his home situated just off the shop so it seemed natural that he would take over to become the sole owner and operator.

Joe is involved in every aspect of the business, from finding the parts you need for your truck to installing them himself to make sure they meet your standards and his. His "pickiness" and attention to detail ensures that only quality products are used and installation will be done right the first time, as he lives by the motto "If you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?"  Our prices are inclusive of a 4% discount for cash and check purchases.
